24 ways Applebee’s PH is serving up good times with new menu

Applebee’s Philippines’ menu is adopting a new look that aligns with its US counterparts and rolls out a new brand promise: Serving Up Good Times. And of course, the grill and bar will not embark into this big move without introducing equally big new entries into its lineup of dishes.

“Simultaneous to the launch of our new menu items for Applebee’s Philippines, we are likewise rolling out our new look menu straight from the US,” said Applebee’s Philippines Marketing Manager Bob Vallar. “A big part of keeping that promise is a delicious array of new dishes that our new menu is absolutely loaded with.”

“Our new dishes for Applebee’s Philippines are a combination of Applebee’s US recipes and original creations we developed locally,” said Applebee’s Philippines Executive Chef Aldrin Ortile. “We took it a singular challenge to develop new dishes bearing Applebee’s culinary imprint while also creating festive, unique, and unforgettable dishes that will make people swoon as they savor their different layers of flavor.”

This significant change in the restaurant’s local menu is fashionably heralded by the introduction of these 24 new entries across all pages:

Calamari and Southern Beef Brisket Quesadillas (with Grilled Watermelon and Spicy Shrimp Salad)

The new lineup for the menu’s appetizers is as big as a hearty appetite. Choose from 15 entries, four of which are newly added. Those new additions are categorized into two: Team Bear has Fried Sweet & Spicy Pickles, Bacon Jalapeno Potato Croquettes, and Calamari; Team Cocktails & Wine has Southern Beef Brisket Quesadillas.

Grilled Watermelon & Spicy Shrimp Salad

The Lighter Fare page of the new menu now includes two Salad entries: Grilled Watermelon & Spicy Shrimp Salad and the mouthwatering Buffalo Chicken Salad. All nine entries still boast of wholesome ingredients and satisfying portions. They are loaded with flavor, not calories.

Three new entries beef up the Pasta options. Spinach Artichoke and Grilled Chicken Cavatappi comes with chicken breast, Cavatappi pasta, cream sauce, spinach artichoke, fried spinach, and grape tomatoes. Firecracker Shrimp bursts as crispy fried breaded shrimp is topped on Cavatappi pasta tossed in Sriracha Parmesan Cream sauce and grilled vegetable relish. Lastly, Grilled Sausage Marinara Pasta is for guests who prefer tomato based pasta dishes with the savory combination of Schueblig sausage, bell peppers, mushrooms, spaghetti, and sun dried tomatoes with marinara sauce.

Seafood creations
The seafood lineup in Applebee’s new menu added four new entries. Teriyaki Balsamic Glazed Salmon is the salmon dish for guests who are skewed into the sweeter side of things while Beetroot Curry Salmon is for those who like earthly and exotic flavors. Sizzling Skillet Shrimp Fajitas and the Old English favorite Hand Battered Fish & Chips are recommended for guests who need to share a dish with beer buddies.

Nashville Fried Chicken Sandwich

Sandwiches, tacos, and more
Out of the 11 entries in the Sandwiches, tacos, and more page of the new menu, five are new entries. Nashville Fried Chicken Sandwich is stuffed with breaded chicken brushed with Nashville hot sauce and served with coleslaw in a Brioche bun. Southern Beef Brisket Sandwich has shredded beef brisket with jalapeno dressing. BBQ Beef Brisket Tacos and Cheeseburger Tacos will change the way you like your tacos, while Triple Meat All-in Burger packs a lot of heat along with USDA beef burger patty.

Local favorites
Three new local flavors with the signature Applebee’s punch are featured in the new Local Favorites page of the new menu. It is spearheaded by Applebee’s Pork Liempo Adobo that showcases succulent pork belly steaks drizzled in tasty soy-vinegar sauce and topped with crispy fried onions. Fiesta BBQ Pork Liempo is comprised of pork belly drizzled in sweet and savory Asian barbeque sauce before topping with colored tortilla chips. Then, there’s Grilled Chicken—traditional Pinoy style chicken barbeque served with Mexi-rice.

S’mores Crème Brulee

Applebee’s lineup of desserts get another boost with three new entries. Hot Fudge Sundae is made of rich and creamy vanilla ice cream poured with hot fudge sauce. Banoffee Cheesecake is toffee cheesecake on coffee graham while S’mores Crème Brulee is sugar-glazed chocolate crème brulee topped with banoffee crumbled and toasted marshmallows.
