3 upcoming events that focus on latest IT trends

Eastern Communications is continuing its commitment to support different growth industries through its innovative products and personalized services. Thus, the telecommunications company co-sponsored the recent Contact Islands organized by the Contact Center Association of the Philippines held at Shangri-La Boracay on October 11 to 12.

The company is also supporting three other upcoming events that are aimed at further improving the country’s information technology (IT) and healthcare information management sectors.

The country’s main event for promotion and celebration of the local IT industry’s world class products, this conference intends to gather the best minds from local and international sites to deliberate on the progress of the IT industry of the country, adoption of key trends in the marketplace, and challenges and opportunities facing the industry players.

Organized by the Philippine Software Industry Association (PSIA), SOFTCON.ph will bring together industry key players on October 24, 2017 at the SMX Convention Center in SM Aura, BGC, Taguig City. The event will hold a startup community expo for startups, support firms, service providers, and investors for business matching opportunities. It will also facilitate technical learning sessions to provide insights on latest trends in software development.

HIMSCON 2017
The upcoming Healthcare Information Management Services conference (HIMSCON) will tackle the changes in the healthcare industry ranging from advances in the medical knowledge to growing complexity of healthcare delivery and constant changes in the industry’s technology.

Organized by the Healthcare Information Management Systems Association of the Philippines (HIMAP), HIMSCON will be held on October 25 at the SMX Convention Center in SM Aura, BGC, Taguig City. It will be presenting with the theme ‘Unlocking Opportunities, Embracing Change.’

International IT-BPM Summit
Eastern Communications will serve as the official connectivity partner of this year’s International IT-BPM Summit (IIS) that will be held on November 7, 2017 at the Makati Shangri-La in Makati City. Organized by the IT-BPO Association of the Philippines (IBPAP), the summit will gather international pioneers and specialists to tackle opportunities and trends in the industry.

With the theme ‘PH DNA: Human Tech,’ the conference will focus on the fast growing technological revolution shaping the current and future landscape of the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry, which is among the key drivers of the country’s economy.
