BPI Asset Management and Trust Corporation (AMTC) is opening 2021 with the voice of financial freedom. The country’s biggest stand-alone trust corporation has launched Wealth Radio, a revamped podcast channel on Spotify.
Wealth Radio is a free and accessible digital tool for financial education. BPI AMTC aims to use it to reach a wider audience and to help more Filipinos better manage their personal finances and investments.
The podcast channel offers a convenient source of comprehensive information where everyone can find quality bite-sized content that will help people navigate the intricacies of managing and growing their own wealth. To be short, Wealth Radio is a haven for anything finance.
“Podcasts have proven to be effective in engaging and reaching a wider audience through relevant and entertaining content,” said BPI AMTC resident Sheila Marie U. Tan. “With Wealth Radio, we do not only share stories and insights to inform, but also provide our listeners with opportunities to reflect on their personal development when it comes to attaining financial freedom.”
Tan added that Wealth Radio serves as a strategic approach to educate, inform, and connect more people especially the younger ones who are starting their own investment journey and are interested in understanding even the most basic concepts of investing.
“Our presence on Spotify enables anyone to freely access high-quality, practical financial tips to help them have a safe and secure investment journey. We specifically chose this platform because audio listening overall is very popular among Filipinos,” said Tan, emphasizing that a YouGov poll found that up to 85% of Filipino adults listen to music or podcasts daily.
Wealth Radio features a curated lineup of topics. The Morning View is a daily dose of financial news; Wealth Watchers is a monthly market recap to synergize and strategize growth goals; Investment Jargon Buster simplifies and strips down complex investment concepts; and Investment Insights offers exclusive interviews with expert speakers and industry champions where listeners can learn secret tricks of the trade-in finances.
