Cebuana Lhuillier empowers employees with AI integration

Among the company’s projects is its first-ever GPThon, hosted by Head of Business Quality Management Division Head Warren M. Enteria. During the event, selected participants from various departments and were taught about GPTs, how they work, and how they can make one. Upon identifying common problems within their respective departments, participants took the time to design their own GPTs and present it to a panel of judges. 

This isn’t the first time that Cebuana Lhuillier has empowered its employees with AI integration as the company also encourages its employees to embrace what AI can do. For one, the company’s creatives team and partner agencies are encouraged to use AI in their designs. Some of these works can be seen on the company’s social media pages.  

The company recognizes the importance of adapting to change so they can stay relevant within their market. More than just social media posts, Cebuana Lhuillier has also run several chatbots with the help of AI to streamline tasks better and make coordination easier within the organization. Some of these include the likes of Ninong Ceb, Waquin, and many others which serve various purposes. 

Rather than replacing human workers,  Cebuana Lhuillier has augmented AI to enhance its employees’ capabilities, thus making them feel empowered to perform their roles more effectively. As a result, AI has not only increased efficiency but has also enhanced job satisfaction by removing mundane tasks and allowing employees to focus on more meaningful work.
