Century City Mall is literally turning pink this holiday season. This Christmas, pink Yuletide decors adorn the world-class shopping and entertainment complex. The idea is to remind everyone of those ‘Sweet Treats’ like candies and desserts that make the Christmases of everyone’s youth more memorable.
“This year’s theme is centered on sweet Christmas,” said Century Properties Group, Inc. Co-Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director Marco Antonio during the festive giant Christmas tree lighting in the mall recently. “When we think back to the Christmases of our youth, we think of color, we think of candy, and all of the sweet memories of our childhood.”
“We wanted to transport children into a fantasy land of what their dreams are really made of. When kids dream at night, they think of sugar, desserts, and candies. So this year, our theme is really for all the kids and all the kids in all of us,” he added.
Sweet Treats for mall goers
After the Christmas Tree Lighting event, Century City Mall is rolling out more Sweet Treats, one after the other. On the weekend of December 16 and 17, the Shopaholic Weekend Promo 4.0 entitles mall shoppers to a 10% rebate (in gift certificates) for accumulated purchases worth P5,000 to P50,000. At the same time, the fourth level of the mall will hold its Silverbells Christmas Fair, where shoppers can find unique and hard-to-find Christmas gift items at the best prices.
Santa Claus is also making his appearance around the mall from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. every weekend until December 31. Our favorite Christmas icon gives away sweet treats to kids and mall-goers as he continues to spread the holiday cheer.
Mystery Manila at Century City Mall is also facilitating a scavenger hunt full of fun and sweet elements for the entire month of December. The unique adventure would surely leave additional sweet memories as you bring your family or friends to the most curious and mind-blowing venue in town.
A banner year for Century Properties
Meanwhile, Antonio also revealed that 2017 has been a banner year not just for Century City Mall but also for the entire Centuries Properties Group. “Here in the Century City, we’ve completed six of our eight buildings— four of which are residential towers including Trump Tower Manila, which is considered a major landmark in our Philippine skyline today,” he said.
“We also have Centuria Medical Makati, the country’s first medical mall where there are more than 200 clinics specializing in outpatient care. We urge and encourage everybody to come visit to see the facilities that are really world class.”
Century Properties has completed a total of 17 building and projects in the last five years. Among the most notable are First Property Homes (comprising of homes that are sold for as low as P1 million) in Tanza, Cavite and Batulao Artscapes (a leisure and tourism development that is being worked on by up to 30 architects to deliver a sterling proposition) in Batangas, near Tagaytay City.
