iflix starts streaming the most popular shows from Discovery Networks Asia

iflix subscribers can now stream and download some of the most popular and well-followed shows from the Discovery Channel, TLC, and Animal Planet. The entertainment content streaming service has teamed up with Discovery Networks–the international television network that operates the three cable channels—to enable its subscribers throughout Asia, the Middle East, and Africa to stream and download most of the latter’s premium non-fiction and lifestyle shows to their devices.

Discovery Networks is known for producing content with unparalleled production values, impressive cinematography, and compelling stories. Its shows are mostly categorized as non-fiction genres—science, exploration, survival, sustainability of the environment, natural history, anthropology, engineering, health and wellness, adventure, current events, and lifestyle.

“We are excited to add Discovery’s most popular brands to our extensive portfolio of the world’s most beloved entertainment brands,” said iflix group Chief Content Officer Sean Carey. “Now, iflix subscribers across Asia can stream or download the best of Discovery’s library in a dynamic and easy-to-navigate interface.”
