Lenovo Philippines has recently inked a partnership deal with mobile device management (MDM) software firm FileWave and its local distributor VST-ECS. The team-up is aimed at further driving digital transformation among local businesses by helping them upgrade their work-from-home teams amid the new normal.

The three companies will offer an all-in-one solution that can come with Lenovo devices upon the configure-to-order system to speed up and simplify mobile management.

“The pandemic has ushered in a whole new era of digital. While digital transformation has long been accepted by companies across industries, the circumstances in the past year have hastened this trend and have propelled organizations to transform even further to adapt to the current climate,” said Lenovo Philippines President and General Manager Michael Ngan.

Easing the complicated device management

“Through the help of VST-ECS, a long-time partner of Lenovo, I am certain that FileWave will touch a broader reach of partners, resellers, and users,” Ngan added.

As the bring-your-own-device and choose-your-own-device work models become a norm, device management has become more complicated for organizations as employees prefer working using different operating systems. FileWave serves companies with differentiated device lifecycle management for mobility and flexibility to constantly adapt and evolve within the ever-changing landscape of the business.

Through a streamlined approach to device management, FileWave brings all operating systems into an easy-to-use console and enables businesses to manage company devices from one intuitive and highly customizable interface. FileWave’s suite of remote-enabled tools allows the creation of a frictionless work environment while running businesses as smoothly as usual, despite remote work setup.

Helping transform businesses digitally

“With this partnership with Lenovo, we aim to assist companies in transforming their businesses and help secure their longevity through FileWave, which has become a very important component of the work-from-home solution for a lot of organizations worldwide,” said VST-ECS Philippines President and CEO Jimmy Go.

Lenovo devices like the ThinkBook and ThinkPad lines can be easily configured to work with the FileWave software, enabling organizations to keep each of their devices proactive and automatic in an easy and secure way. This collaboration not only supports local companies during the crisis but also further equips them to keep pace with global digitalization.
