Two important sectors of the vast agriculture industry are taking the spotlight in a unified event this month. Informa Markets, an industrial trade and expo organizer, is mounting Livestock Philippines and Aquaculture Philippines concurrently on May 22 to 24, 2024 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
Livestock Philippines is annual international trade fair focusing on the innovative production and processing of poultry and other livestock. Since its maiden edition in 2011, the event has been serving as a forefront business-to-business (B2B) show that promotes and contributes to the growth of feeds and meat sectors across the country.
For its part, Aquaculture Philippines exhibits innovations in fisheries, seafood, and aquatic sectors. It has been serving as a platform for open and holistic discussions on the aquaculture value chain—from production to processing.
As twin events, Livestock Philippines and Aquaculture Philippines 2024 will uphold the theme ‘Harnessing Innovation and Technology for Sustainable Farm Development.’ Highlighting the latest technology and innovations within the involved sectors, the exhibits and conferences are aimed at promoting and inducing business and employment opportunities and at the same time supporting sustainable practices complemented by advancements in technology.
“Unlocking the vast potential of the local livestock and aquaculture sectors can be achieved by enabling the stakeholders to gain access to the latest technology and markets,” said Rungphech ‘Rose’ Chitanuwat, Informa Markets General Manager in the Philippines.
Aside from being a knowledge-sharing platform among livestock growers, farmers, business owners, suppliers, and other industry stakeholders, Livestock Philippines and Aquaculture Philippines 2024 will be a three-day show that also aligns with the Department of Agriculture’s ‘Masaganang Agrikultura, Maunlad na Ekonomiya’ mantra. The twin events are aimed at helping build further partnerships between public and private sectors.
