McDonald’s Philippines is again observing its annual National Breakfast Day. This year, it is set on Monday, March 19, 2018 at participating locations nationwide.
It will be a Monday like no other as the giant fast food chain gives away pieces of one of its most popular local breakfast offerings to date—Longgadesal. This new breakfast sandwich comes with sweet-peppery longganisa (Filipino sausage) patty stuffed in between two slices of buttery pandesal.
The free Longgadesal can be availed from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. only. Anyone can claim a free sandwich just by going to or ordering via drive-through at any of the participating stores.
To claim your free Longgadesal, simply get a numbered coupon at the outlet’s door or drive-thru lane. You will be stamped on the hand upon receiving that coupon. After that, proceed to the cashier and present your free Longgadesal stub to get your sandwich.
Take note that each customer is entitled to one free Longgadesal. For drive-thru customers, a maximum of 4 Longgadesal coupons will be given per vehicle (the number of stubs will match the number of passengers). The coupons will be given on a first-come, first served basis. Promo participants must line up accordingly. Take-out counters and McDelivery are excluded from this promo.
McDonald’s Philippine started observing the National Breakfast Day on March 18, 2013. Since then, it has become an annual tradition for the brand. In the past years, McMuffins were given away during the breakfast promo. The fast food chain has also adjusted the time this year to 7 a.m. to 8 a.m., from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. in the previous years. This time, the company has not set any limitation on the number of free sandwiches to be given away per store.
The National Breakfast Day is McDonald’s way of giving back to all its loyal customers, who usually start their day by ordering breakfast from the fast food chain.
