Do your thing, as usual, today and head on to certain SM Markers (SM Hypermarket, SM Supermarket, or SM Savemore) tonight when you think all other shoppers are already sleeping. There are 29 supermarkets from the group across the country that are now on special 24-hour operations just to accommodate more customers who usually do last-minute shopping and grocery for Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
It has now become a tradition of SM Markets to implement a special 24-hour operational schedule for a holiday. In 2016, SM Hypermarket in SM Mall of Asia started the practice. The success of that move prompted more SM Markets locations to do the same this year, which surely is to the delight of busy consumers, not just in the metro but in other key cities nationwide.
