Do your thing as usual today and head on to certain SM Markets (SM Hypermarket, SM Supermarket or SM Save More) tonight when you think all other shoppers are already sleeping. More than 21 SM Markets have announced 24-hour operations on specific dates this season to accommodate more customers who usually do last-minute shopping and grocery for Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
This is not the first time SM Markets is implementing a special 24-hour operational schedule for a holiday. In the same period in 2016, SM Hypermarket in SM Mall of Asia started the practice. The success of that move prompted other SM Markets locations to do the same this year, which surely is to the delight of last-minute shoppers.
The special schedule started on December 15 and would last Saturday, December 23. Here are the SM Markets locations that will operate 24 hours today, December 23:
