Uniqlo has formally opened its second roadside store in the Philippines on November 27, 2020. The new retail location is at Blue Bay Walk in Pasay City. It has a 900-sqm shopping space, carrying a complete range of LifeWear items for men, women, kids, and babies—perfect for a one-stop shopping experience for the entire family.
Opening a roadside store has proven successful in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and the Philippines. A roadside store promises a simple, local, one-stop shopping experience for customers to enjoy a quick and convenient trip close to their home. In the Philippines, the first Uniqlo Roadside Store is in West Gate in Alabang.
“At Uniqlo, we aim to make our roadside store a lifestyle and cultural hub for the local community and a driver of local economic development and prosperity,” said Uniqlo Philippines COO Masayoshi Nakamura. “The opening of the Uniqlo Blue Bay Walk Roadside Store will provide the locals with a one-stop shopping experience and convenience for their everyday clothing needs.”
Aside from the vast retail space, the Uniqlo Blue Bay Walk Roadside Store includes a parking lot for customers. It is carefully designed to be spacious and accessible to everyone—for families with children, for elderly people, and for people with disabilities. Free Parking is available for the first three hours for customers who spend a minimum single-receipt purchase of P500.
