Xtreme Appliances continues aggressive expansion efforts despite pandemic

Newly opened Xtreme Concept Store in Cauayan City

Even the ongoing pandemic is not stopping Xtreme Appliances from aiming to make its line of home appliances accessible to more households nationwide. The uprising brand of kitchen and home appliances has announced plans to open 20 more concept stores by the end of the year. That would quadruple its current number of showrooms, which is five.

Moreover, the company aims to be more aggressive next year. Its target is to increase its branches to about 50 or 50 by the first three months of 2021. The concept stores, dubbed as One-Stop Shop Appliances, are serving as showrooms where customers can find and buy any of the items in Xtreme Appliances’ catalog.

“Xtreme Appliances is for the Filipino people,” said Suntouch Technology Corporation (Xtreme Appliances) President and CEO Richard Lim. “Our objective is to have a one-stop-shop where all consumer and corporate needs can be met. The product lineup of Xtreme is based on what people need.”

Safety protocols

Customers have no reason to worry about going to the concept stores as the company ensures that all aspects of its operations adhere to pandemic safety standards. Xtreme provides hygienic products and facemasks to all its employees.

In its offices, factories, and stores, Intelligent Temperature Measurement and Disinfection mobile booths help ensure everyone’s safety. Moreover, the company provides shuttle services and accommodation for employees, especially during modified enhanced community quarantine periods.

Xtreme Appliances has also started offering loans with flexible payment terms and zero-interest to its sales agents, who need to maintain mobility in the new normal. This will make sure all committed client visits and operational duties will be carried over. The company’s expansion efforts are also creating more jobs for retrenched workers and fresh graduates during these trying times.

Brief history

The brand was born in 2016 when it started selling audio and video devices. In 2018, Lim began making Xtreme a household name by investing in further research and development to expand its one-stop-shop lineup of appliances.

That was when the brand’s products started being classified per category. The maiden Xtreme Audio and Video line comprises of smart TVs, LED TVs, speakers, and amplifiers. Xtreme Cool has all types of air conditioners, refrigerators, freezer, and washers and dryers. Xtreme Home includes essentials like gas range, microwave oven, water dispenser, induction cooker, electric fans, electric kettle, and blender.

To date, Xtreme Appliances boasts of product updates that are proving to generate high demand in the local market. Those items include full-touch microwave oven, frontload combo washer and dryer, and ‘The Silencer’ electric fan. In the fourth quarter of this year, the brand is set to add more products in its growing catalog like Android TV, baking oven, tower fan, rangehood, air fryer, dishwasher, air cooler, and pressure cooker.
