To reward its users in the Philippines for their loyalty, Kaspersky Lab has rolled out a photo story contest that also serves as its early Christmas treat. Together with partner iSecure Network, the anti-virus software vendor announces ‘Kaspersky & I: Protecting the World from Cybercrimes Photo Story Contest.’
A total of P280,000 worth of cash prizes (tax-free) will be given away. There will be eight winners of P10,000 each (first two monthly draws) and four grand prize winners of P50,000 each (third draw/announcement of best photo entries).
“We are delighted to take our promo to another level by showcasing the Filipinos’ photography skills while highlighting the importance of having a safe online environment,” said Kaspersky Lab Southeast Asia General Manager Sylvia Ng.
Promo mechanics
The contest is open for all customers who purchase any of these specially marked Kaspersky Lab products, which come with a promo code each: Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2018 (1-User, 3-User, or 5-User) or Kaspersky Internet Security 2018 (1-User, 3-User, 5-User). One promo code can be used for a single valid entry.
Register to join the promo in two ways: 1) Like iSecure Network’s Facebook page, access the promo app, and key-in required details; 2) Visit the special promo website and key-in the required details, including a verification code that would be emailed to the participant.
After completing registration, you can start qualifying in the contest in two ways: 1) Submit a photo entry (can be single photo or a collage of photos) featuring any of the participating Kaspersky Lab product in it; 2) On the promo website, go to a designated text field and provide a creative response (in English, 160 to 320 characters) to the question: “In your own way, how can you protect the world from cybercrimes?”; and 3) Simply key-in the promo code printed in the activation card in any of participating Kaspersky Lab products (for the electronic raffle).
Promo duration is from October 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017.
How to win
Participants can win in 10 raffle draws—two monthly draws (P10,000 to each of eight raffle winners) and the grand draw (two raffle winners of P50,000 each). Two grand winners with the best photo entries will be announced at grand draw and will each win P50,000.
For the photo entries, these criteria will be used: visual impact (25%), creativity (30%), overall impression (25%), and content (20%).
