Integrated mixed-use development Alviera has rolled out its Explore Porac (EXPLORAC) campaign to open its doors anew to lovers of the great outdoors. The estate jointly developed by Ayala Land and Leonio Land is giving everyone the opportunity to explore the local gems of Porac in Pampanga.
EXPLORAC offers guests the chance to experience various outdoor activities in its 1,800-hectare estate, which is among the biggest of its kind in the country. It kicked off through the grand reopening to the public of Sandbox on April 23.
Sandbox is a 2-hectare adventure park that facilitates unique kinds of outdoor fun—with facilities that are different from all other parks of its kind in the country.
“We are focusing on expanding and improving the Sandbox experience with the introduction of new facilities. We want to give guests a full-day itinerary here at Alviera,” said Alviera Project Development Manager Melanie Eugenio Trivino.
The Sandbox adventure
Upon entry into the park, the 10-meter Giant Swing greets guests in awe. This attraction is designed to facilitate a simple, yet thrilling ride as guests are taken toward the sky.
Nearby is the Aerial Walk where groups can get into a fun racing challenge. For solo visitors, a personal challenge to test guts and endurance is also possible. Not far from the facility is The Adventure Tower, which also facilitates various attractions and activities like the Free Fall Jump, the climbing and rappel walls, and the country’s first-ever roller-coaster zipline.
Move further to find the Splash Tub, which has up to 11 water-oriented obstacle courses like the Ball Traverse, Over-and-Under, and the Wreckers which can test your balancing skills as you walk on slippery platforms. The Lounge Pool features IG-worthy inflatables for taking selfies and facilitating a challenging race.
Citykart Racing Pampanga welcomes guests who love speeding. This is perfect for those who are into kart racing and is open for beginners and even the more skilled kart racers. For a quick bite and some refreshments, food merchants (mostly locals) are waiting in the Greenscapes area.
Sought-after nature adventure
Alviera also takes pride in opening to the public several more attractions that appeal to outdoor enthusiasts. The estate is introducing a 5-kilometer bike trail for beginners and advanced-level bikers. The Alviera Bike Trails showcases different sections of the property, showing off various landscapes.
The KTM Off-Road Track comprises a 3-hectare motocross course, hosting off-road events and offering training programs—complete with a set of obstacle courses and facilities. Trivino pointed out that KTM Off-Road Track is also a riding academy and they make sure everyone going is properly trained to carry out the challenges.
Alviera is set to open its inaugural campsite within the estate—the W Camp. The 5,000-square-meter campsite welcomes car campers, traditional campers, and glampers upon request. W Camp, which opens the west-side of the property to the public, features lush greenery, open skies, and nearby streams. It is set to mark its first family camping activity on April 30, 2022 and is calendared to open by the second half of the year.
For laid-back, unwinding activities
Want to bond with nature? The Greenscapes will surely fit the bill. “When we conceptualized this project, we had two goals: we want to share a safe and generous open space for riders because people are clamoring for open spaces since the onset of the pandemic and we want to create a center for Alviera’s sustainability initiatives,” Trivino revealed.
There are over 400 new trees in the area. Planting stocks are at the nursery. The Greenscapes also features a blooms field, an ornamental plant nursery, and vetiver and tree farms.
The Alviera Country Club (ACC), an exclusive facility for members, is designed to accommodate gatherings, especially these days when such activities are not anymore restricted. The ACC sits on a 5.6-hectare property. It features a multi-purpose function, banquet, and meeting rooms. It also houses various sports facilities (basketball court, tennis court, swimming pools, and others).
Do you prefer to spend the night on the property? Your family will surely appreciate having a resting place after rigorous physical activities at the Alviera. Thus, the estate furnished some homes from Avida and converted those into villas that can be rented out.
Want to spend a day doing fun activities? Planning for a quick staycation? Alviera is strategically located near the Clark Airport, the Subic Freeport, and other provincial hubs (San Fernando City and Angeles City). It can quickly be accessed from Metro Manila and Bulacan via NLEX and SCTEX.
Alviera in Porac, Pampanga is the second largest development of Ayala Land in terms of land area, after Nuvali. “What we envisioned in Nuvali in the south, that’s our goal here in the north through Alviera. Since our launch in 2014, we have established Alviera to be a self-sustaining community,” Trivino concluded.
