Expo organizer Worldbex gears up for World Bazaar Festival 2022

The Philippines’ biggest charity bazaar is set for one of the grandest and most exciting events this year. World Bazaar Festival 2022 promises to be as fabulous for exhibitors and guests as things get almost business as usual after a slowing down for the past two years due to the ongoing pandemic.

“World Bazaar Festival is celebrating its 22nd year so this will be grand this year,” said Leo Salonga, Marketing Manager of Worldbex Services International, the organizer of the annual Christmas bazaar.

“We are marking our 22 uninterrupted years. In 2021, we did it hybrid—combined outdoors and online. Of course, in 2020, things were done virtually due to the lockdowns but the bazaar was still mounted,” Salonga said.

Among the many highlights of the annual World Bazaar Festival are celebrity stalls. This year, popular celebrities like Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo, Pokwang, and Gladys Reyes have already confirmed their participation in the bazaar. Celebrities usually sell pre-loved items in their own booths.

World Bazaar Festival also facilitates anticipated exhibitions and expos within the annual event. Christmas Village showcases Christmas designs and decorations from all over the country, while Designers Avenue offers a wide range of branded apparel and accessories at affordable prices.

The bazaar also partners with government agencies. The Department of Trade and Industry Region 4B hosts the DTI Pavilion which sells the best regional food and handicrafts. DA Pavilion, in partnership with the Department of Agriculture, showcases the best-tasting regional food items from across the country.

Other highlights of the bazaar are Christmas Carol with the Angels, Himig ng Pasko, Woobie’s Comedy Night, Woobie’s Pawstival, cooking demos, Manila Flair Open (featuring bartenders), and DJ Night.

On its Year 22, the World Bazaar Festival remains the longest-running annual charity bazaar in the country. This year, it will be held from December 10 to 19, 2020 at the World Trade Center. Bazaars open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Worldbex, now on its 25th year, has also recently joined the 10th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit as a first-time exhibitor. “Our first partnership with EVAP [Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines] was good. The foot traffic was good. We look forward to the next EV summit,” Salonga ended.
