OPPO Philippines is putting the limelight into entry-level smartphones again, after focusing on mid-level devices in the past few months. The mobile device brand has announced the release of its new OPPO A71 2018, which will be available beginning Saturday (March 10) for just P7,990 in all of its concept stores nationwide.
The company is proud to reveal that this new smartphone carries some features that are inherent to its mid-range level models. First, the device comes with a 5.2-inch HD display embedded into a compact shell body, which is strategically designed to make it easier to hold and bring around.
Capture the real you
The OPPO A71 2018 has A.I. Beauty Technology that is integrated into its 5MP front camera for more personalized selfies analyzing a subject’s facial features in over 220 points. Like the flagship F5, this entry-level phone can also detect skin tone, race, and age to bring about a more naturally looking selfie.
For taking normal photos, the OPPO A71 2018 has a 13MP rear shooter. It is integrated with multiple modes like panorama, time-lapse, and expert mode for taking ultra-HD 42MP shots.
It runs on Color OS 3.2 under Android 7.1.1. It also functions with other premium features like the O-Share, which transfers files from other OPPO devices at lightning speeds. Lastly, its 3,000mAh battery could last over 12 hours.
Shaking up the entry-level arena
“We keep on pushing the industry by coming up with the best smartphone in every price point,” said OPPO Philippines Public Relations Manager Eason de Guzman. “We believe the A71 2018’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor and A.I. Beauty Technology will elevate the smartphone experience in the entry-level arena.”
Aside from all these features, freebies come with every purchase of the OPPO A71 2018. There is a free pre-installed screen protector as well as a transparent protection case.
