Autobot Service Center hard-launches VinFast partnership at APV Expo 2025

Autobot Offroad Philippines has hard-launched its recent agreement to become the official service center of VinFast electric vehicles (EVs) in the country. The premier modification, accessories, and vehicle maintenance shop for 4×4, off-road, and overlanding automotives is rolling out an interactive booth showcasing the Autobot Service Center at the 2nd Auto Parts & Vehicles (APV) Expo, running until July 27, 2025 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

Autobot Offroad Philippines, which will turn 18 years old in August, launched its Autobot Service Center, a multi-bay service shop, in 2023. The service center offers oil change and tune-up, periodic maintenance service (PMS), wheel balancing, brakes and under chassis service, and camber and alignment.

In line with the Autobot Service Center’s partnership with VinFast, Autobot Offroad CEO and President Randy Ronald Lao revealed plans to open branches that would exclusively focus on EVs. Currently, it operates six locations in the country and two in Qatar–all providing services to traditional vehicles, though those are also starting to service EVs.

Under the agreement with Vietnamese brand VinFast, Autobot Service Center will perform PMS for Vinfast EVs in the country, including VF3 three-door compact runabout, VF5 and VF6 five-door compact SUVs, and VF7 and VF9 premium EV models. It is also serving as the official service workshop for Green GSM Taxi fleet, a new ride-hailing or taxi app company initially operating in the metro (the ride-hailing fleet uses VinFast VF e34 Nerio Green EV).

“Our automotive passion extends beyond vehicle modification and customization,” says Lao, who is also fondly called as ‘Mr. Autobot’ by his peers. “While Autobot earned its reputation as the premier 4×4, off-road, and overlanding shop in the Philippines, we are working hard to ensure that Autobot Service Center earns its reputation as the most trustworthy, efficient, and effective automotive workshop in the country.”

Meanwhile, Autobot Offroad PH has also launched a limited-edition Autobot watch with Luminox. Lao disclosed that they ordered just 150 units of the special watch and only 30 are left available as of this writing. Each Autobot X Luminox watch costs close to 30,000. It will be hard-launched through a special event in September.
