BYD Cars Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, has officially launched the all-new BYD Tang DM-i, marking a major milestone in the brand’s expansion of its Super DM-i lineup. Built to give Filipino families the freedom to go farther, drive smarter, and move with more confidence every day, the BYD Tang DM-i delivers a unique blend of electric efficiency, intelligent features, and spacious comfort, redefining what an electrified family SUV can offer.
The BYD Tang DM-i blends the efficiency of BYD’s advanced powertrain with the versatility and presence of a 7-seater SUV. With the combination of electric driving, premium features, and intelligent safety, the Tang DM-i redefines expectations for family mobility in the Philippines.

Super DM-i Power without limits
The all-new BYD Tang DM-i is powered by BYD’s Super DM-i technology, which combines a turbocharged onboard generator with a 21.5 kWh Blade battery, delivering a total output of 271 PS and 315 Nm of torque which enables it to 0-100 km/h in 7.5s. This advanced system ensures exceptional energy efficiency while covering a dynamic and responsive driving experience. With a combined driving range of over 1,000 kilometers and 110 kilometers of pure EV mode driving, the BYD Tang DM-i is built to support both everyday mobility and long-distance travel, giving drivers the freedom to go further without compromise.
When it comes to charging efficiency, the BYD Tang DM-i can charge from 15 percent to 100 percent in about three hours using AC power or from 30 percent to 80 percent in 22 minutes via DC charging. The inclusion of Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality adds further versatility, allowing the SUV to power external devices. This makes it ideal for outdoor adventures, family trips, or emergencies. Designed for modern lifestyles, the Tang DM-i delivers a smart and sustainable alternative to traditional SUVs.

Comprehensive warranty coverage for long-term confidence
To support a worry-free ownership experience, BYD offers industry-leading warranty coverage for the Tang DM-i. This includes 8 years or 160,000 kilometers for the Blade Battery, 8 years or 150,000 kilometers for the electric motor and control systems, and a 6-year or 150,000-kilometer new vehicle warranty.
