Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) was named Digital Inclusion & Sustainability Champion at the Global Brand Frontier Awards 2026 organized by U.S.-based Boston Brand Research and Media

The recognition highlighted RCBC’s efforts to expand financial inclusion and sustainable finance through its digital banking platforms and alternative banking solutions.

According to the U.S.-based branding and research organization, the annual awards recognize companies and institutions that demonstrate innovation, industry leadership, and measurable global impact.

RCBC highlighted several flagship digital initiatives, including RCBC Pulz, RCBC DiskarTech, and RCBC ATM Go. Among the bank’s key initiatives were the launch of the Philippines’ first U.S. Virtual Account for Filipinos without a U.S. address or residency through RCBC Pulz, the MySSS Mastercard Debit Card linked to RCBC DiskarTech in partnership with the Social Security System (SSS), and Southeast Asia’s first manual cash withdrawal service for international and domestic tourists through RCBC ATM Go.

“We believe financial institutions play a critical role not only in expanding access to banking services, but also in creating opportunities that empower communities and support economic participation. RCBC remains focused on developing digital solutions that deliver meaningful impact to Filipinos across all sectors,” said RCBC President and CEO Reggie Cariaso.

Lito Villanueva, Executive Vice President and Chief Innovations and Inclusion Officer of RCBC said the recognition reflects the growing importance of financial inclusion and sustainability in digital banking.

“We thank Boston Brand Research and Media for recognizing RCBC’s efforts to make digital banking more accessible,” Villanueva said.

He added that financial institutions play a critical role in developing solutions that go beyond basic banking access by creating broader economic opportunities for consumers and communities.

RCBC has continued expanding its digital banking initiatives as part of its broader push to strengthen financial inclusion, accessibility, and sustainable banking services across the Philippines.
