Acer was named as among the most trusted PC brands in the Philippines in the recently held Reader’s Digest Asia’s Most Trusted Brands 2018 Awards. The tech titan was among the 105 brands that were Gold Trusted Brand Awardees from the country this year.

In the Awards’ brand showcase site, Reader’s Digest Asia described Acer as “one of the world’s leading technology companies, focused on breaking down barriers between people and technology.”
The description continued: “In its 15 years in the Philippine market, Acer continues to live up to its promise of constantly innovating its products and services and making technology accessible to everyone. From its entry-level to high-end products, Acer has a reputation for offering devices that promise high-definition audio and visual components, stellar processing power, and generous connection ports, all housed in sleek, refined exteriors. The range includes laptops, desktop PCs, tablets, monitors, projectors, and cloud solutions for both home and business use.”
Acer has been providing technology products to the Philippine market for 15 years now. It has been in the list of Reader’s Digest Asia’s Most Trusted Brands in the country for the ninth consecutive year now.
“This award cements our conviction to be known as the IT company for Filipinos,” said Acer Philippines Sales and Marketing Director Sue Ong-Lim. “This 2018, we have expanded our operations in key cities outside of Luzon to better cater to the growing demands in the country. Aside from this, we released new innovative products apt for various target markets and strengthened our bond with industry partners to foster collaboration.”
Other Gold awardees in the personal computer category are Apple and Asus.
