Smart Communications and its parent company PLDT are setting up an e-commerce platform for De La Salle Philippines (DLSP) schools nationwide. The Animo Smart Store is a portal designed to making browsing through Smart’s connectivity solutions more convenient for students and staff of De La Salle schools nationwide.
“We are always ready with solutions for the academe so that faculty and students can continue their education and be confident that they are supported by fully-capable learning institutions despite all the challenges,” said Smart Communications President-CEO and PLDT Chief Revenue Officer Alfredo S. Panlilio.
The DLSP network comprises 16 member-schools across the country with more students and hundreds of faculty members and non-teaching personnel. All of them will gain access to PLDT-Smart’s deals and offers that are exclusively for the De La Salle community. Most of those specials are not even available in the telco’s physical stores and official online shops.
“The partnership provides a one-stop shop where the school and students can conveniently get everything that suits their need at prices that wouldn’t normally be available to them,” said DLSP President Edgar O. Chua. “Animo Smart Store has also given Lasallians a store they can identify with and be proud of.”
This partnership between PLDT-Smart and DLSP shows the giant telco’s commitment to equipping Filipino students with the reliable connectivity that they always need especially during the new-normal school year. “The Animo Smart Store is a convenient gateway for DLSP students and teachers to browse through Smart’s connectivity solutions,” said SVP and Head of Consumer Business Jane Basas.
“They will also enjoy exclusive discounts for prepaid load and wireless devices such as mobile phones and Smart Bro pocket WiFi.” Basas also disclosed that shipping fees for purchases made on the platform will also be waived.
