Christmas has officially begun at “Your Home by the Bay!” Bayview Park Hotel has kicked off the merriest season of the year with a grand Christmas tree lighting activity held on December 1, 2022.
The 75-year-old hotel has gathered guests for an early-morning activity, which is reminiscent of typical Christmas mornings. City of Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan and Vice Mayor Yul Servo joined Bayview Park Hotel General Manager Eugene Yap in formally lighting up the splendid Christmas tree—clad in red, silver, and gold adornments—at the hotel lobby.
All guests were treated to a sumptuous Filipino breakfast feast, made livelier and more interesting with lots of singing, dancing, and merry-making. It was a fabulous Coachella Christmas gathering (with ‘Sparkle and Shine at the Extraordinary Coachella Christmas’ theme) filled with fun and laughter—and giving a hint of the joyful atmosphere the hotel will foster in the entire season.

Season for being grateful
“It is during this season that we recount our fortunate events that we’re able to hurdle,” said Bayview Park Hotel General Manager Eugene Yap. “The most important was of course the Covid-19 lockdown. The Bayview Park Hotel provided quarantine accommodations for our returning overseas Filipino workers as well as we remind ourselves and be grateful for the assistance, for the vaccination from the government, including the City of Manila administration headed by then-Mayor Isko Domagoso and our new Mayor, Dr. Honey Lacuna-Pangan.”

But the dark days are over and I hope this year, we will make this season a very meaningful and memorable one,” said Mayor Lacuna.
