BGC celebrates Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year this weekend

All roads lead to Bonifacio Global City (BGC) this weekend. BGCitizens are up for three exciting events as the prime financial and lifestyle district celebrate two of February’s biggest events.

‘The greatest love stories of all time’
Up now until the end of the month is a special Valentine installation in the middle of Bonifacio High Street that will surely captivate all lovers’ hearts. ‘Happily Ever After’ aims to remind us all that true love wins.

There’s more to it. Take your selfies with your special someone (or loved ones) and upload those on your Facebook or Instagram accounts using #iLoveBHS and tagging Bonifacio High Street (@bonifaciohighstreet) to qualify for a special promo that gives away an ultimate dinner date.

Ensemble: A Valentine Concert
Prepare for a musical treat that will make your heart sing with joy and passion. ‘Ensemble: A Valentine Concert’ is set to serenade guests with a powerhouse lineup consisting of today’s best Original Pilipino Music (OPM) acts like Ebe Dancel, Clara Benin, Bullet Dumas, Reese Lansangan, and Johnoy Danao. Timeless OPM hits will be rendered along with music by the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra Quartet.

Be at the Globe Iconic BHS Amphitheater by 7 p.m. on Saturday (February 17) for the concert. To get free tickets, simply go to the BHS Concierge to present single or accumulated purchase receipts (dated February 9 to 17, 2018) worth at least P2,000 from any of the merchants at the Bonifacio High Street.

Chinese New Year treat
The Bonifacio High Street is also transforming into a Chinatown as a way to celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Earth Dog this weekend. From February 16 to 18, BGC is bringing the rich Chinese culture through a showcase of its music, art, and food to the delight of everyone.

Savor traditional Chinese cuisine, enjoy cultural performances, dance to attain good fortune, or get into guzheng (zither)-playing, calligraphy, and paper-cutting. You may also try tarot reading, palm reading, and fortune-telling services in the area.
