Press Release
BSB Junrose has been appointed as one of Michelin’s new importer-distributors serving commercial transportation and fleet customers in the Philippines.
The partnership comes as Michelin builds on more than 60% growth in Philippine sales volume since 2023. The tire manufacturer has also expanded its local importer-distributor network from four to seven as it pursues further growth beyond its traditional passenger-car strength.
For BSB Junrose, the partnership is more than an addition to its brand portfolio. It supports a broader effort to help fleet operators address the demands of vehicles that must remain productive every day.
“BSB Junrose is strengthening its role in commercial mobility by supporting fleet operators in selected critical areas that contribute to vehicle reliability, uptime and operational efficiency,” said Ian Bangayan, President of BSB Junrose. “The addition of Michelin commercial tires expands that capability into another essential area of fleet operations.”
Fleet performance is business performance
Commercial vehicles sit at the center of logistics, distribution and the daily movement of goods. When a vehicle is taken off the road unexpectedly, the cost is rarely limited to a repair. Delayed deliveries, interrupted schedules and missed commitments can quickly affect customer service and operating results.
Fleet decisions therefore extend beyond the purchase price of a part or tire. Operators must consider reliability, availability, safety, maintenance requirements and the effect of each component on productive time.
The company currently helps keep fleets moving through batteries, lubricants, grease, clutches, bearings and selected engine components. The addition of commercial tires allows it to support another critical requirement of fleet operations.
Expanding commercial fleet support
As one of Michelin’s new importer-distributors, BSB Junrose has a focused role in serving commercial transportation and fleet customers in the Philippines. The partnership broadens its support for businesses that depend on reliable vehicle operations.
Commercial fleets operate under varying route conditions, load requirements, and maintenance demands. Tire selection must therefore be matched to how each vehicle is used, as the right fit can help operators manage tire performance, maintenance planning, and vehicle availability.
The initial Michelin commercial tire range available through BSB Junrose will cover specific vehicle applications in the Philippine market, supported by product guidance for fleet customers.
Keeping commercial fleets moving
The company is presenting the partnership to industry audiences at Transport & Logistics Philippines 2026, where fleet operators and businesses can learn more about its commercial mobility direction and the Michelin tire solutions being introduced.
Through the partnership, Michelin contributes its commercial tire technology, while BSB Junrose brings its understanding of the local aftermarket and the operating requirements of Philippine fleet customers.
“Our role is to help customers keep their fleets moving,” Bangayan said. “For fleet operators, reliability and uptime are not abstract benefits. They are part of how the business delivers every day.”
