Cebu Pacific is resuming the Change for Good fundraising program as travel restrictions ease up and more passengers take back to the skies. The initiative is aimed at generating funds to be donated to UNICEF.
With this, Cebu Pacific passengers can choose between two options to donate to help vulnerable children through UNICEF. First, they can do this online at . Second, they can donate while onboard a flight through the Change for Good donation bags.
“We are optimistic that everyone will travel again and embrace the new normal,” said Cebu Pacific Air President and CEO Lance Gokongwei. “And we are happy to resume the Change for Good program inflight so we can continue raising funds for children through our partnership with UNICEF.”
“Thanks to Cebu Pacific’s initiative during the pandemic, we were still able to raise funds for children by launching Change for Good online,” said UNICEF Philippines Country Representative Oyunsaikhan Dendevnerov. “All proceeds go to children where and when they need it the most, such as those affected by the Typhoon Odette emergency. Now that travel has restarted and passengers can donate on board, we hope to raise even more funds, especially for children affected by emergencies.”
Through Cebu Pacific and other generous partners, UNICEF continues to work in typhoon-devastated areas and help restore access to essential health, nutrition, water, sanitation, hygiene, education, and child protection services, primarily focusing on the most affected and vulnerable children and women. Donations go to back UNICEF’s development and emergency programs for children.
