Eastern Communications has bagged three Stevie Awards this year—a gold, a silver, and a bronze at the 2021 International Business Awards (IBA). The company, which is among the premier telecom firms in the country, got recognition for its positive achievements and contributions to the community.
The entry ‘Fostering Business Efficiency through Eastern Communications’ Eastern Cloud’ campaign won a Gold Stevie in the Cloud Platform category as it featured the firm’s world-class ICT solutions. Eastern Cloud is Eastern Communications’ business-grade cloud service offering efficiency and collaboration through the latest and secured cloud computing technology to encourage productivity, creativity, and reliability.
The Silver Stevie Award for Communications/ PR Campaign of the Year Category was achieved by Eastern Communications’ Covid-19 program. ‘First Connections are the Strongest: Connecting Filipino People Amid the Pandemic’ was aimed at restoring the human connection during these challenging times through personal and innovative solutions.
Meanwhile, the Bronze Stevie Award for the Most Exemplary Employer Category was bagged for the company’s ‘Nurturing Eastern Communications’ Employee Welfare Amid the Covid-19 Pandemic.’ That campaign focused on comprehensive health and wellness to ensure the safety and well-being of Eastern Communications’ staff during the ongoing health crisis.
IBA is considered the ‘International Stevies.’ It was established in 2002 with the aim of honoring accomplishments and efforts in every aspect of work. The winners for 2021 will be celebrated via a virtual awarding rite set on December 8, 2021.
