FHM Philippines officially returns; takes new approach in showcasing ‘the new allure’

After more than eight years, FHM Philippines is staging a comeback, this time as part of the growing entertainment ecosystem of PlayTime Entertainment. The grand relaunch was mounted on November 6 at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila.

However, the brand is returning with a different approach, reversing the order of its former traditional media roots. During the grand relaunch event, PlayTime Entertainment revealed that “the new FHM begins with a person, not the product.”

“FHM is not coming back to repeat its past,” PlayTime Entertainment President Crisanto Roy Alcid revealed. “Today’s talents don’t wait to be discovered; they build their own audiences. What we offer is the stage, the partners, and the reach to take them further. That is the print we want to leave on this industry.”

Thus, FHM Philippines is formally opening its doors to aspiring Filipinas who are ready to break into the limelight by taking the journey to be the next FHM girl. The journey takes shape in an exclusive digital album accessible to FHM’s new online community—across official FHM Philippines social media platforms.

The November issue digital album dropped on November 7, exclusively for followers who complete a 4×4 Challenge. To do so, follow @FHMOFFICIALPH on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Share the Mechanics Post (‘November Issue Digital Album, Get your Copy Now’) on the social media platforms, screenshot those posts and DM (direct message) FHM Philippines via FB Messenger. The copy is absolutely free, though the challenge can only be completed until November 21, 2026.

From there, the FHM Philippines story goes deeper with various types of interaction.

FHM Afters: The Podcast goes live with intimate, unfiltered audio-visual series where FHM Philippines’ most-loved personalities share bolder, never-heard revelations. It then steps off the screen and into the room.

FHM Nights brings premier nightlife and venue activations celebrating the cover stars and showcasing “the new allure” in real time.

FHM World is the brand’s luxury tier. It brings FHM into high-end lifestyle experiences, private activations, and world-class style. From there, the path is set to the iconic tradition:

The FHM 100 Sexiest Women makes its grand comeback. This time, it is reimagines and elevated as the annual celebration and live showcase of beauty, power, and modern influence.

The classic question gets in: Is FHM Philippines returning with its popular print magazine? The relaunched brand said, “Print does not disappear. It becomes a collectible, limited physical copies autographed by no less than the featured covered girl.”

The relaunch party introduced the first set of the FHM Feature Girls: Faye Lorenzo, Vanessa Peña, Liezl Lopez, Analyn Barro, and Arra San Agustin. These celebrities are creators, actresses, and public personalities who are already building their own set of audiences and telling their own stories.

“FHM once defined women through the lens of their era. Today, it gives them reach beyond their own channels: a cover-girl spot each month, and the platform to become something more. Talents chosen through public voting earn their place in the album, so audiences help decide who is featured,” FHM Philippines said in a statement.

The first cover girl for the FHM Philippine comeback took the spotlight during the night—Sanya Lopez, an actress, social media darling, and popular celebrity in her own right. During the Press Conference, Lopez revealed that she was part of the sexiest list in 2017, before the old FHM Philippines ended its run in 2018.
