Lifestyle rewards program GetGo, in partnership with leading carrier Cebu Pacific, has launched ‘Points for Good.’ The corporate social responsibility (CSR) campaign aims to support various causes of partner organizations—the Philippine Red Cross, UNICEF, and World Vision.
Points for Good is making it possible for GetGo members to donate their GetGo points to any of the partner groups’ efforts, which range from Covid-19 support to disaster relief operations. EveryJuan can make generous donations through the campaign until January 15, 2021.
“We are more than happy to be able to support yet another worthy and timely cause,” said Cebu Pacific Vice President for Marketing and Customer Experience Candice Iyog. “We thank all our partners for their continued trust and together, we enjoin everyJuan to donate points that will go a long way in helping our nation rise and come out stronger amid this crisis.”
To donate GetGo points to this endeavor, members are advised to log in to the GetGo mobile app. From there, select the preferred denomination, then choose any of the three organizations to support. The total donated GetGo points will be matched by Cebu Pacific by providing flights to support relief operations in affected communities nationwide.
“Your generosity, through the Points for Good, can help us save more lives and rebuild communities,” said Senator Richard Goron, who is also the Chairman and CEO of the Philippine Red Cross. The non-profit organization is committed to leading the fight against Covid-19, natural disasters, and emergencies. UNICEF and World Vision also expressed their gratitude for GetGo’s support.
