In other words, it is a weekend with a wide selection of options for the entire family. Check out the following events under Tech and Lifestyle Journal’s radar this fun weekend:

It’s a Girl Thing
November 18, BGC High Street Amphitheater

Globe Live is bringing teen passions—music, arts, fashion, beauty, health, media, and well-being—to life through its highly anticipated event It’s a Girl Thing (IAGT). In partnership with international event marketing agency Branded (co-producer of YouTube FanFest), this world-class festival aims to inspire, educate, and empower teenage girls while also celebrating the privileges of being a young woman.

After being launched in Singapore, IAGT’s tour is taking its stop in Manila on Saturday (November 18) from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Bonifacio High Street Amphitheater in Taguig City.

The unique format defines the event—part live show and part experiential festival with interactive activities like meet-and-greet with celebrities, life-skill workshops, and branded experiences. Among the invited international celebrities to take part in the occasion are international YouTube sensations Bethany Mota and Remi Cruz and lifestyle blogger Niomo Smart. Their local counterparts will also be present like YouTube star Janina Vela, recording star Kiana Valenciano, viral vlogger Pamela Swing, inspirational singer Abby Asistio, singer-songwriter Renee Dominique, and online influencer Riva Quenery, among others.

IAGT is an inspirational platform that will facilitate self-discovery as teens explore what it really is to be a girl and make participants share ideas and experiences on how to turn their dreams into reality. It also intends to empower young women to be part of a united community, promote positive personal development, and explore key social issues like anti-bullying, racism, positive body image, self-worth, cultural challenges and opportunities, and future expectations.
