Jollibee continues to salute people who make a big difference and help make the world a better place. It is the season once again for the biggest fastfood chain in the country to recognize outstanding Filipino families that best exemplify positive values—generosity, creativity, compassion, resourcefulness, strong ties, and love for the community and the environment.
Jollibee Family Values Awards (JFVA) has opened nominations for model Filipino families here and abroad. Since 2011, JFVA has recognized over 45 families that help others through their advocacies and serve as an inspiration to other people.
“Despite the overwhelming challenges Filipinos face, there are still families who go out of their way to uplift the lives of other people and communities,” says Global Chief Marketing Officer of Jollibee Francis Flores about the awards. “This is what the Jollibee Family Values Awards celebrates—families who have become beacons for others to follow.”
Nomination process
Anyone can nominate model families (even their own) based on the following qualifications: impact of advocacy in addressing pressing needs and long term sustainability of a community, magnitude of that advocacy’s contribution to a community, degree of participation or involvement of family members, and ability to overcome challenges as well as special circumstances.

Winners and prizes
JFVA will recognize five families as grand winners. Each will receive P300,000 cash, a trophy by sculptor Michael Cacnio, and Jollibee gift certificates worth P10,000.
The OFW Family of the Year awardee will also bring home P300,000 cash, a Michael Cacnio trophy, Jollibee gift certificates worth P5,000, and a special prize from The Coca-Cola Corporation.
Special citation awards will also be given out to families who have outstanding advocacies in education (co-presented with National Book Store), children, environment, minority groups, persons with disabilities, and youth empowerment. These awardees will receive P50,000 cash, plaque of recognition, and gift certificates each.
