The country’s leading name in ‘Padala,’ LBC has recently entered into a partnership with government-owned lender Land Bank of the Philippines (LandBank) to enable all of the bank’s international and domestic account holders to encash remittances in any of the courier and remittance center’s branches all over the country.
In a statement, LBC said the tie-up will further help the company bring joy to more Filipinos through provision of additional financial access. For its part, LandBank said it aims to serve more account holders through LBC’s strong presence in all key cities and provinces nationwide.
This partnership is not the first between the two companies. In 2012, LBC and LandBank’s money remittance agreement has enabled the bank’s depositors to deposit their remittances to their LandBank accounts anytime through LBC’s credit-to-bank service.
Now, LandBank account holders can take advantage of LBC’s real-time cash pick-up remittance service, a system that facilitates remittance transactions from any LandBank branch or agent partners to send and claim cash through over 1,200 LBC locations nationwide.
To claim remittances, customers just need to provide assigned tracking number and present valid identification cards to LBC tellers.
Aside from LandBank, this remittance service is also already available to customers of global money remittance companies like Asia United Bank, Bank of Commerce, Chinabank On-time Remittance, Metrobank, RCBC Telemoney, BPI Remittance, Western Union, Xoom, Far East Express, URemit, Transfast, Al Ansari Exchange, Alfalah Exchange Company, Al Ghurair Ersal, CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad, Pinoy Express, Palawan Express, Instant Cash, Sendah Remit, Placid Express, TML, Speed Remit Worldwide, Prabha Money Transfer, Tempo Financials, OK Remit, Unidos Transfer, Worldcom Finance, Remitix, SMJ, Progoto Exchange, Philippine Veterans Bank, Pacific Ace, Onyx Exchange, International Money Express, Cash Sense Express, Instant Cash, Abra, and Zenjex.
