Take this as Lenovo’s way of assuring its local customers that the brand cares. The giant PC maker has formally announced putting an additional year to its highly popular 2-year Premium Care warranty solution.
In an online announcement Monday (June 22, 2020) night, the company said the extended warranty period covers select devices within its consumer lineup from July 1 onwards. Thus, the all-new IdeaPad, Yoga, Legion, and IdeaCentre PCs are automatically covered for three years with the Premium Care’s International Coverage and Local On-site Service. Meanwhile, those with existing warranties may also be upgraded to the same warranty period.
“At Lenovo, we are committed to putting our customers first, and this entails not only providing game-changing products but also extending them flexible and affordable technical support and solutions,” said Lenovo Philippines President and General Manager Michael Ngan.
“The pandemic has disrupted day-to-day operations and pushed everyone to set up mobile working arrangements which lead to additional wear and tear to devices. Hopefully, with the added year or maintenance in our Premium Care service, our customers can spend their money on more essential goods in these trying times,” Ngan added.
Extended Premium Care
Lenovo’s Premium Care service provides direct and easy connection to real Lenovo technicians, a real fast resolution to PC troubles, and holistic comprehensive support even outside the user’s home country. Lenovo aims to assure a hassle- and worry-free maintenance experience even during the ongoing pandemic.
The following robust solutions are also offered to customers: 1) 24X7 access to Lenovo technicians via phone, chat, email, and WhatsApp; 2) comprehensive support for hardware, peripherals, and software; 3) on-site repair on the next business day; 4) ‘getting started’ and ‘how-to’ assistance; and 5) annual PC Health Check.
