Beauty queen/ social entrepreneur is new Lenovo ThinkBook ambassador

Lenovo Philippines has introduced the newest ambassador of its ThinkBookSeries. Mutya ng Pilipinas Tourism International 2018, celebrity, and social entrepreneur Aya Fernandez takes her first task—flaunting the modern capabilities of the ThinkBook 15 device for the next-generation workforce.

The 21-year-old Broadcast Communication graduate of the University of the Philippines was just 17 years old when she co-organized Project Lily PH, then an already-existent group of persons with disabilities (PWDs) who were known for making eco-friendly charcoal. She is also a celebrity in her own right, being identified with premier artist center Star Magic, being a TV video-jock, and being a member of the UP Street Dance Club.

Fernandez thinks the newly launched ThinkBook 15 device reflects her work life and pursuit of personal advocacies. She openly raves about the business-grade pre-loaded features of the laptop line for enhanced work performance and bolstered productivity.

“Our devices are designed to redefine productivity with instantaneous response, making the line well-suited to the young generation—tech-savvy, driven, and diverse,” said Lenovo Philippines President and General Manager Michael Ngan. “Aya not only embodies this spirit with fierce passion but goes beyond expectations by balancing all her roles and responsibilities at the same time. She inspired people to work hard and work smart in achieving success, which is one of the main goals of Lenovo’s smarter technology. We believe ThinkBook and Aya are a perfect pair.”

The ThinkBook 15 does not compromise style for function, with its sleek and modern exterior. Lenovo hinted that it developed the ThinkBook series to respond to the agile nature of young workers, offering enhanced connectivity, AI-based technology, and enterprise-level support. It integrates the convenience of a consumer laptop with professional grade features and performance. Thus, it is ideal for millennials and Gen Z workers, who account for 60% of the workforce, based on a 2019 study commissioned by the company and conducted by Forrester Consulting.

To boost its usefulness, the ThinkBook 15 has pre-installed Skype for Business with designated Hot Keys for more convenient video-conferencing and collaboration. It sports the tiny and reliable ThinkShutter, a sliding cover for the webcam that gives its users full control over its camera for privacy. With an integrated fingerprint reader on the Smart Power Button, logging into the device is as quick and easy as unlocking a smartphone. It is lightweight and comes with a battery life lasting up to 12 hours, allowing young users to keep unplugged and be able to work on the go.

Here are more outstanding features of the Lenovo ThinkBook 15:
• Runs on up to the 10th generation Intel Core i7 6-core processor for swift and intelligent performance.

• Up to 24GB memory with up to 2TB storage and powered by an Integrated Intel UHD graphics or AMD Radeon 620 discrete graphics with 2GB GDDR5 for an immersive virtual experience.
