Jack ‘n Jill Magic Crackers aims to further connect with its consumers. Thus, it recently launched its own mobile app with the promise to bring Magical Moments to them whenever they need those.
“In line with our effort to go digital, we launched the Magic Crackers mobile app to give Filipinos a wonderful opportunity to experience Magic Moments anytime, anywhere,” said Jack ‘n Jill Magic Crackers brand representative Bixie Sese. “It is also a way for the brand to connect with its consumers and update them with exclusive events and promos.”
The brand’s ambassador, celebrity John Lloyd Cruz, topbilled the app’s recent launch-event dubbed as #MagicMoments, which was held at the Activity Center of Ayala Malls’ Trinoma in Quezon City. Not surprisingly, the celebrity endorser is all over the mobile app.
Magic Crackers mobile app has features that can be categorized into four: games, entertainment, announcements, and links.
The app has three games, all designed to facilitate fun times anytime, anywhere. ‘Magic Match’ can be played by swiping and matching delicious magic treats in the board. It is obviously inspired by popular mobile gaming apps like ‘Bejeweled’ and ‘Candy Crush.’ A player has to match as many treats as he/she can within a limited time frame.
‘Magic Beats’ facilitate virtual musical jamming. The keys provided in the screen produce varying sounds. The player could use his/her creativity to create tunes through the beats provided. Meanwhile, ‘Magic in a Pack’ brings in awesome surprises (spoiler: images of Cruz in various poses) whenever the user snaps any Magic Crackers pack into the app’s camera feature.
The entertainment feature posts several related videos of Cruz and of some of the past activities initiated by the brand. Lastly, Magic announcements serve as a virtual bulletin board.
Magic Crackers mobile app is available as free download on iOS and Android. The new app was developed by DGTS Inc, which also created the Search n’ Snap mobile app by C2 Green Tea.
