Metrobank begins new journey to ‘Meaningful Banking’

The Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank) is moving forward to elevate its commitment of ‘You’re In Good Hands.’ One of the country’s largest banks has formally embarked into a new journey through its ‘Meaningful Banking’ campaign.

“In this day and age, we see a lot of developments as our customers continue to evolve,” said Metrobank President Fabian Dee during the launch of the lender’s new campaign on July 2, 2019 at The Garden Pavillion of the Grand Hyatt Manila. “Thus, to keep our promise of keeping you in good hands, the bank must evolve as well.”

‘Meaningful Banking’ heralds the next stage of Metrobank’s transformation as it delivers new experiences to its customers. “It is our re-commitment to put customers at the heart of everything we do—to listen and understand them as we strive to move, change, and grow together,” Dee added.

Since its establishment in 1962, the bank has always aimed to serve its customers extraordinarily well through finding opportunities and working collaboratively with them with the goal of helping them realize their aspirations—whether to ramp up their businesses or attain their life goals.

To symbolize its renewed commitment, Metrobank introduces its signature frame that serves as a visual focal point highlighting its customers’ meaningful stories. Latest milestones
The launch of this new campaign comes as the 57-year-old bank celebrates new milestones as well. Metrobank was recently recognized as the Philippines’ Best Manages Bank, Best Transaction Bank, Best Trade Finance Bank, and Best Foreign Exchange Bank by the Asian Banker 2019 Awards. The Asset Asian Awards also recognized it as the Best Service Provider in Cash Management. And because Metrobank also takes very good care of its over 13,000 employees nationwide, it was also included in the Best Companies to Work For in Asia list by HR Asia.

For its contribution to nation-building, Metrobank keeps its commitment to making a real difference in Filipinos’ lives by supporting meaningful initiatives within the communities it serves.
