On the last day of store operations, Mister Donut Greenhills outlet is ‘business as usual.’ This is to serve their loyal customers the last opportunity to enjoy Mister Donut dine-in meals in the 42-year-old store.
However, there will be a few simple, yet special activities throughout the day. According to Mister Donut Philippines Marketing and Key Accounts Director Meggie Jose, January 31 operations of Mister Donut Greenhills will kick off with a special 30-minute Zumba session to be held at the nearest parking area at 6:30 a.m. By 7 a.m., the store will serve free breakfast as a treat to all participants.
After that, the store will operate as usual, serving all meals, doughnuts, baked goods, and beverages on the menu until 5 p.m. Mister Donut Greenhills will have ‘a little surprise’ for its customers throughout the day so be sure to drop by for the final time to find out. All ongoing promos are still up.
By 5:01 p.m., the store will start accommodating takeout orders only until its closing hour to give way for preparations for a special ‘fellowship’ session. Invited bloggers, special guests, and loyal customers are expected to gather for a dinner treat by 7 p.m. 
Several minutes before 9 p.m., the store will close and symbolically turn over its door keys to the management of Ortigas Malls. This will signify the official closure of the outlet, which started in the exact same spot in the Shoppesville Arcade in 1982.
“We would like to thank our customers for more than 40 years of loyal patronage,” said Jose. “This is not goodbye yet. We hope to see you around.”
In the past several days prior to the closing date, the volume of customers and orders in the store have noticeably increased. According to store personnel, they have been running out of donuts by as early as 4 p.m., or about five more hours before store closing. It is expected that more customers will drop by during the closing date to experience dining and ordering donuts and meals at the 60-seat Mister Donut Greenhills outlet for the last time.
