Ortigas Malls is officially welcoming back guests in time for the holidays through a heartwarming and meaningful online fundraising concert.
Christmas with the Stars is a fundraiser created for the benefit of the Independent Production Workers Group (IPWG), an organization that provides assistance to creative who used to work in lice events like concerts and theaters before the pandemic. The group represents thousands of workers in the entertainment industry. Up to 80% of those individuals are still struggling to find work these days.
“It’s been oft-repeated that Christmas is not only a season for joy but is also a season for giving,” said Ortigas Malls Vice President Arch. Renee Bacani during an onsite launch event of the activity on November 4 at Greenhills Shopping Center.
In time for the holidays, Ortigas Malls President and CEO Jose Emmanuel Jalandoni joyfully welcomes back patrons to Ortigas Malls.
“We wanted to combine both [joy and giving] with Christmas with the Stars—not only will our mall-goers and fans be treated to a night of good music and good company, they will also be able to help our live entertainment production workers get back up on their feet,” Bacani added.
The launch of Christmas with Stars was marked with a night market-themed event—a fun-filled night of night market, food trucks, and a joyous parol exhibit that brought early holiday cheers. San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora graced the night activity.
“With the holidays upon us, it is our hope to spread cheer through simple, yet meaningful events that we’re sure our patrons will love and make them remember that they will always be part of the community at Ortigas Malls,” said Bacani.

Christmas with the Stars fundraising concert
The online fundraising concert is set on December 11, 8 p.m. Ogie Alcasid and Ian Veneracion will headline the concert together with other Original Pilipino Music (OPM) singers and performers. Every ₱1,000 single or accumulated receipts from any establishment within Ortigas Malls can be converted into a free ticket to enjoy the performances and support the cause.
It will also serve as a kickoff of succeeding online mini-concerts set every Friday beginning November 12. The events can be accessed through the Ortigas Malls social media pages.

Ortigas Community Card
The launch event also marked the unveiling of Ortigas Malls’ first-ever loyalty card—the Ortigas Malls Community Card. It is a loyalty program that aims to provide mall-goers and shoppers with VIP experience in its malls. Exclusive privileges can be used in Greenhills, Tiendesitas, Estancia, and Industria.
The rewards program also allows cardholders to enjoy real-time perks—free parking, carwash, free use of shopbox, free shopping fee from My Home Dashers, and discount coupons from Ortigas Malls merchant members. You can register for an Ortigas Mall Community Card through the Ortigas Malls Mobile app for free.
“After many months of being cooped up in the safety of our homes, it’s nice to feel connected to a community once again,” Bacani said. “We would like to share this experience with the patrons of Ortigas Malls so they may find a trusted program that adds value to their lifestyles, through the use of the Ortigas Community Card.”
“This is our way of giving back to the community and is only a teaser of more perks, privileges, and functionalities coming to our Community Card members,” he added.
Greenhills Night Market
Ortigas Malls aims to make up for all the time lost from months of lockdowns through the opening of its Greenhills Night Market. More than 50 food stalls and food trucks assemble in the parking lot adjacent to G-Strip, while an al fresco dining area is also installed to facilitate a safe dining environment for guests.
The night market will provide Greenhills shoppers the convenience of enjoying meals after hours of shopping. The night market opens daily from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and will run until January 7, 2022. Entrance is free.
