Premier beauty trade show ‘Cosmobeauté Philippines’ set in June

The country’s robust beauty industry is finally taking the centerstage as the biggest and only B2B trade show focusing on beauty and cosmetics turns heads this June. Cosmobeauté Philippines (formerly PhilBeauty Expo) is set from June 4 to 6, 2025 at the World Trade Center Manila in Pasay City. 

The three-day event gather up to 250 exhibitors from across 20 countries across the world. It will encompass the beauty, cosmetics, wellness, and personal care industries. Cosmobeauté Philippines will serve as an innovative and comprehensive platform bringing together up to 7,000 visitors plus numerous professionals and quality trade buyers.

Active industry

“Cosmobeauté is set to be a premier beauty event that would enhance your trade show experience. The goal is to contribute to the exponential growth of the promising beauty industry in the Philippines, one of the most active nations across Southeast Asia that gives high regards to the beauty sector,” she added. 

 In 2024, the Philippines’ beauty and personal care industries have jointly reached USD.37 billion (about 350.35 billion) in 2024, based on estimates released by independent market research firm IMARC Group. The think tank also projects these industries to collectively reach US$11.05 billion (about 607.75). 

 The Chamber of Cosmetics Industry of the Philippines, Inc. (CCIPI) in 2022 estimated the cosmetics industry to be worth about $4 billion (about 220 billion) annually. 

 Government backing

Meanwhile, the Philippine government has reiterated its unwavering commitment to continuously support the billion-peso local beauty industry, particularly the micro-, small-, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) that are producing goods and services that contribute to the sector. 

According to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Acting Secretary Cristine Roque, the agency is more focused to further create more avenues to MSMEs, so they could showcase their products and services to reach more discerning beauty, wellness, and personal care consumers in the Philippines, and probably in targeted markets in the Southeast Asian region. 

 Additional highlights 

Aside from the trade show/expo that will showcase the newest innovations and the trendsetters in the beauty industry, Cosmobeauté Philippines will also facilitate engaging programs, conferences, and seminars with the goal to share new knowledge and insights to attendees.

 Among the most notable are the 17th Asian Societies of Cosmetic Scientists (ASCS) Conference (to be organized by the Philippine Society for Cosmetic Science), the Ultimate Artistic Hair and Makeup Showdown (to be hosted by the Unified Makeup Artists of the Philippines), and the Beautelympics (to be presented by the Professional Aestheticians Association of the Philippines). 

 The three-day event will also facilitate makeup masterclass sessions, live demonstrations, and industry seminars. Plenary discussions will bring together the most sought-after professionals and thought leaders in the industries, who will share not just knowledge but inspiration as well for those who intend to make a career or a business out of beauty, wellness, or personal care.
