PSBank announces downtime from Nov. 3 to 6

Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank) has released an advisory regarding its scheduled upgrade of its deposit system. The thrift bank unit of Metrobank announced a downtime of its system that will start on Friday (November 3) at 10 p.m. and will last until Monday (November 6), 5 a.m.

This activity will affect these locations: all branches in Metro Manila; Guagua, Pampanga; Sto. Tomas, Batangas; Carbon, Cebu; and Monteverde, Davao. Services for other depositors and clients in all other branches will not be affected.

The 55-hour downtime on weekend in affected locations will prevent customers from accessing their accounts and using various banking services. The following will not be available: ATM transactions (PSBank and other banks), PSBank Mobile, PSBank Online, Business Online Buddy (corporate internet banking), e-credit, and point-of-sales services (ATM cards being used as payment cards).

PSBank’s Flexi Personal Loan Accounts will also not be accessible during the period. Payments to proprietary billers (PSBank loans, PSBank and Metrobank credit cards, Maynilad, PLDT, Smart & Sun, FAMI, AXA, Sumisho, among others) will also not be facilitated.

The bank advises all its depositors and customers to plan their transactions ahead of the scheduled downtime to prevent unnecessary setbacks.
