It is now possible to order and buy selected products of Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) from food delivery app foodpanda. This is part of the giant telco firm’s efforts to expand its market and offer new services.
Under the partnership, Smart subscribers can conveniently order Smart LTE Broadband Pocket WiFi and/or Smart/ TNT 5G-ready SIM cards through the foodpanda app. The purchased item/s will surely be delivered on the same day.
“We hope to give our customers more convenient ways to enjoy our prepaid products with just a tap of a finger,” said PLDT and Smart SVP and Head of Consumer Sales & Distribution Alex O. Caeg.
This new service is initially available in Pasig City, Quezon City, Iloilo City, Cebu City, Mandaue City, Talisay City, and Lapu-Lapu City. In Cebu City, e-load will also be available through foodpanda soon.

This team-up comes as foodpanda continues to serve more customers during the pandemic. “This partnership with Smart also allows us to expand our market and offer new services to our customers who are mostly working from home during these trying times,” said foodpanda Managing Director Daniel Marogy.
