Sun Life of Canada (Philippines), Inc. (SLOCPI) will make its Digital, Easy, Affordable, Life (DEAL) insurance products to registered subscribers of GCash beginning October. Initial offerings like Personal Accident Armor, Life Armor, and Byahero Protect will become accessible in the digital platform, which is currently the most used digital mobile wallet in the country.
At the same time, Life Armor and Personal Accident Armor will also be made accessible to registered users of another digital wallet, the uprising ePera.
The No. 1 insurance firm in the Philippines is collaborating with the two e-wallet platforms to address the increasing demand for affordable personal digital life insurance products locally. The DEAL insurance products are known for offering affordable digital life insurance packages for various needs. Currently, these products are available to users of e-commerce platform Lazada and the Moneygment financial app.
