Sun Life Philippines is now officially a Great Place to Work. The country’s undisputed No. 1 life insurance company has earned the highly coveted workplace certification following an affirmation from its own people.
In an employee poll conducted independently by Great Place to Work, a global authority on workplace culture, 86% of the insurer’s people indicated that Sun Life PH provides an overall great employee experience.
Moreover, up to 92% of Sun Life PH employees feel they are being treated fairly regardless of race, while another 93% feel being treated by the company fairly regardless of their gender. About 94% of the employees feel they are being treated fairly regardless of their sexual orientation, and 93% of them deemed Sun Life as “a physically safe place to work.”

Meanwhile, 91% of surveyed Sun Life PH employees agree that their leaders are competently running the business; 92% said the management is honest and ethical in practicing business; and 92% are proud to work at Sun Life PH.
“These results tell us there is a high level of trust within our community,” said Sun Life PH CEO and Country Head Benedict Sison. “The feeling is mutual.
