Tagaytay Food Festival 2025 is set at Taal Vista Hotel this weekend

Press Release

Now in its second year, the Tagaytay Food Festival returns this weekend with a deeper purpose: to remind us of the power of food to bring people together. In a world that’s increasingly fast-paced and disconnected, this year’s theme, “Food That Binds,” puts the spotlight on food as a medium for gathering, storytelling, and meaningful connection.

Organized by Chef Rhea SyCip, co-founder of The Fatted Calf in Tagaytay, in partnership with SM Hotels & Conventions Corp., this year’s festival takes place at Taal Vista Hotel, bringing together a vibrant mix of hotels, restaurants, chefs, and producers to celebrate culinary heritage and innovation. The celebration opens on Friday, 18 July 2025, with the Trade Place Farmers Market from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Covered Terrace. At 5 p.m., guests can enjoy the lively Drinks Fest, followed by the much-anticipated Grand Tasting at 6 p.m. in Ballroom 1 and 2. Tickets are priced at 3,950 per person.

The Grand Tasting will feature signature dishes from a stellar lineup of culinary destinations including Anya Resort Tagaytay, Asador dos Mestizos, Binulo, Dos Mestizos, Elaia by Cyma, Farmer’s Table, Florita’s, Gorios, Hotel Monticello, Morgano Restaurant, Pamana, Papa Bolo, Reynaldo’s Smokehouse, Ribcon, Siglo, Slow Food Cavite, Taal Vista Hotel, The Fatted Calf, and Tsokolateria.

On Saturday, July 19, 2025, the festival continues with Food Talks from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Ballroom 1, featuring conversations with chefs and food advocates on culinary culture and sustainability. Among the featured speakers is Ms. Tisha Rianna I. De Belen, Senior Operations Manager–Food & Beverage of SM Hotels and Conventions Corp., who will present a talk titled, “Plate for the Planet–Sustainable Diner: A Key Ingredient for Sustainable Tourism.” At 12 noon, guests are invited to indulge in a Heritage lunch buffet at Veranda Restaurant for 1,780 per person, offering traditional Filipino dishes in a nostalgic setting. The Heritage lunch buffet will also be available on Sunday, July 20, 2025, for those who wish to extend their experience.

Taal Vista Hotel highlights its participation with Sunset Sessions at TĀZA Fresh Table from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on July 19, featuring wines, cocktails, a carving station, and a live acoustic band, a perfect way to end a flavorful and heartwarming weekend. Tickets are priced at 3,500 per person.

The Tagaytay Food Festival 2025 is more than just a culinary event, it is a heartfelt invitation to pause, gather, and reconnect. From the vibrant Farmers Market to the rich conversations at Food Talks and the unforgettable dining experiences, this weekend promises to nourish both the senses and the soul.
