Taiwan Excellence has two new partners for the execution of its global contest ‘Go Healthy with Taiwan.’ This year, it is teaming up with Anytime Fitness and Growth Circle International (GCI) in calling for ideas on health and wellness.
Taiwan Excellence is an established body recognizing innovative products made in Taiwan, especially those demonstrating innovative value in research and development, design, marketing, and quality. ‘Go Healthy with Taiwan‘ is an annual initiative calling for proposals aimed at improving the wellness needs in communities while applying Taiwan products, business models, of technologies.
There will be six global finalists that will be given the opportunity to visit the island state in an all-expense paid trip, where they will be scheduled to present and defend their proposals. In the end, three global winners will take home US$30,000 (more than ₱1.7 million) each.
In a press conference announcing the partnership, held on July 29 at Anytime Fitness Araneta Quezon City, representatives of each institution were given the opportunity to express their support for the ‘Go Healthy with Taiwan’ initiative.

Alex Lai—Director of Taiwan Trade Center, Manila (TTC)— welcomed everyone to the event with opening remarks and shared a message of appreciation to the supporting partners of the campaign. “On behalf of Taiwan Trade Center, Manila, it is with great pride and thanks that I express my appreciation to Anytime Fitness and Growth Circle International for working with us on the ‘Go Healthy with Taiwan’ campaign. We believe that by working together, we can make a real difference and help more people live better lives, not only here, but around the world.”

Mark de Joya—Chief Operating Officer of Anytime Fitness Asia—then spoke on the benefits of entering the proposal contest, noting the one-month free gym membership offered to their member participants. “We, at Anytime Fitness, are proud to support the ‘Go Healthy with Taiwan’ initiative with Taiwan Excellence. As a brand committed to making healthy happen, we’re excited to offer Filipinos greater access to innovative fitness through Taiwan technology. We encourage Filipinos to join the initiative, that’s why we are giving away one-month of free membership to those who join the ‘Go Healthy with Taiwan’ proposal contest.”
