Uniqlo has released the Spring/Summer 2022 Paul & Joe collection in the Philippines. The new range, which is part of the Uniqlo T-shirt lineup, is a follow-up on the first collaboration collection with the French fashion brand in 2021.
Paul & Joe was established by Paris-based designer Sophie Mechaly in 1995 after the names of her own sons. The fashion line has since become one of the most loved ranges globally, thanks to its playful prints and hues. Paul & Joe’s new collection now incorporates innerwear. It exuberates in spring, adding a splash of color to wardrobes when out and about or at home.
“I am happy to be collaborating with Uniqlo again,” said Mechaly. “For this collection, I used my two beloved cats as motifs, and the production process was a lot of fun. In line with Uniqlo’s LifeWear philosophy, I hope to make everyone happy through my clothes. I hope this collection will give people around the world the pleasure of enjoying fashion.”
The new collection features a number of new patterns, including adorable cats and swallows—all signifying good fortune. The innerwear, for its part, delivers attention to detail like shorts with signature chrysanthemum lace decorations and camisoles with fine spaghetti straps than can also serve as visible innerwear. The diverse lineup ranges from T-shirts and dresses to scarves, bags, and other accessories. For the first time, baby bodysuits are also part of the collection, offering fun for infants, girls, and moms alike.
