Universal Robina Corporation (URC) has launched a program that is aimed at helping increase the income of local sari-sari stores. Through the BayaniJuan Caravan, the company is extending the bayanihan spirit prevalent among Filipinos, especially during these interesting times.
BayaniJuan Caravan is visiting several barangays across the City of Manila to offer special bundle packs to sari-sari store owners. Those bundled products—containing items from brands like Baker John, Great Taste, Robina Farms, C2, Payless, among others—are offered to the small retailers with discounts of up to P77.
At the same time, the sari-sari store owners can also get the chance to take home useful items like protective barriers for their shops. BayaniJuan Caravan is set to roam across the city until October 11, 2020.
The BayaniJuan Caravan project runs with stringent protocols to ensure the safety of everyone. Those include observing physical distancing, wearing of masks, disinfecting of items, and body temperature checks.
