YouTube Philippines is extending Super Stream this holiday season. This is to continue giving free access to some of the country’s top video content across a variety of genres for a limited time.
Every week until December 27, 2020, YouTube fans can watch hours and hours of binge-worthy holiday content—including local blockbuster movies, hit TV shows, romantic flicks, and more from major media partners like ABS-CBN, GMA Network, TBA Studios, and Regal Entertainment.
YouTube first launched the Philippines Super Stream channel in September 2020. The month-long project gave more Filipinos free access to over 300 hours of content from the most popular local content creators and broadcast firms.
For this special edition of Super Stream, creators such as Erwan Heussaff, Mikey Bustos, Janina Vela, Wil Dasovich, and more are participating to share their content, providing another reason for people to stay tuned to YouTube while they stay safe at home this season.
“The holiday season this year may be different but it doesn’t mean we cannot keep certain traditions alive. Technology is helping us connect with loved ones and at the same time, enable us to watch some of our most favorite timely content. We hope that with the extension of Super Stream, Filipino viewers are able to find some holiday joy on YouTube and have another reason to bond with the family while staying safe at home,” said Google Philippines Marketing Head Gabby Roxas.
