Two giant brands in the transport sector are teaming up to help further ensure transport safety in the country. European car parts manufacturer Hella has entered into a partnership with leading ride-hailing service Grab Philippines for this cause.
Under the agreement, Grab drivers can avail of up to 30% discount whenever they purchase any auto part from Hella. They can also get special and exclusive freebies as part of the partnership. Among the items under sale are bulbs, horns, dash cams, and wipers, among others.

“Grab has been providing essential services to many Filipinos over the course of the varying quarantine classifications. With the immense pressure and demand placed on their partner drivers, Hella wants to thank them by providing them with exclusive access to quality, reliable, and more affordable aftermarket parts,” said Hella Country Manager for Philippines Jason de Leon. “This will not only help them keep their vehicles in check but also provide protection to their livelihood and source of income while they continue to serve the greater community.”
In 2020, Grab adopted several health and safety protocols to help protect its passengers and drivers. Through the partnership, Hella is offering additional benefits in recognition of the public service provided by the drivers, who are also considered as front liners during this pandemic.
