Samsung unveils Galaxy Tab A7 Lite—the latest addition to its tab portfolio

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd has introduced the newest addition to its tablet roster. The giant tech brand’s Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is ideal for on-the-go users who are constantly looking for a compact device.

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is a carry-along and affordable companion for on-the-go and gaming content creators. The ultra-portable tablet comes with an 8.7-inch screen in a sleek, compact, and durable metal cover in Gray or Silver color variants. The slim bezels around the display the powerful Dual Speakers with Dolby Atmos bring the users closer to their stories as they watch movies and shows and play mobile/online games.

The 64GB internal storage is expandable up to 1TB through a MicroSD card to ensure ample space for all of your favorites. The octa-core processor facilitates smooth and quick playing.

Tab that meets daily needs

Its battery is long-lasting with 15W Adaptive Fast Charging. It is complemented by an optional LTE capability for watching trending new shows and playing games even while on the go.

“Demand for tablets continues to grow. Whether it’s for studying remotely, connecting with friends, or enjoying personal entertainment, consumers are looking for devices that keep up with their creative and busy lifestyles,” said Samsung Electronics SVP and Head of Experience Planning Team for Mobile Communications Business Woncheol Chai.

“We’re excited to provide consumers the technology they need to get the most out of every day. The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is equipped with stunning features that are designed to meet the daily needs of consumers,” Chai added.

Galaxy Ecosystem

The Galaxy TabA7 works seamlessly with the same ecosystem as the other Galaxy devices—from smartphones to earbuds. Thus, you can use the tablet as well to take calls and even receive text messages via a Samsung account, even when the smartphone is not within reach.

You can easily copy and paste texts or images between enabled Galaxy devices. It also facilitates an easy transition from browsing on the phone to the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite display through Samsung internet. The Galaxy Buds automatically switch devices to take a call on your smartphone while you listen to music or watch a video through the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite.

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is set to be available in the Philippines beginning June 18, 2021 with an initial price tag of ₱9,490.
